  Advertising is probably the biggest industry in second life because so many groups NEED it! After spending money and time on the problem I decided to do it myself!..lol What SL needs is a professional looking way to advertise without spamming people endlessly.
  I hope with this free blog I can give people that opportunity. This form of advertising is a magazine like, longterm form of advertising. Doing an immediate shout out to people for an upcoming event in the short term would not be effective with this.
  I'm hoping people will look, read and flip thru the entire list of posts like a magazine. Reading what ever interests them the most, and leaving comments! This form of advertising is less spam on everyone and more enjoyable.
  If you would like to advertise your service or group here, you must have a website url to put in my links.
If you have a great picture or logo that will fit would be helpful, and a description of what your group has to offer! The ads are free if they don't conflict with my friends on my network. I'm not looking for fierce competitors fighting it out on my site lol. I ask only that if you advertise or not, please show my blog poster somewhere it can be seen by your visitors, thats it!

Kill the Lawyers! And the Managers..LOL

  I've had the misfortune of working for other people for over 30 years. 50 if I include my parents. Some have been better than others. My own father being the worst lol.
  After having another one of those bad days at work, I got curious for the millionth time, about finding another line of work. I'm getting older now, looking for something a little easier on my body and my brain.
  I decided just for fun I'll do a search on the computer. "What's the best paying job for the least education?" You might be surprised to find that the answer is management!
  You don't even need to go to school! "This explains a lot...lol." People wonder why the world is such a mess?
  You can start as a busboy in a restaurant, work your way up as a waiter, then assistant manager, and then head manager. I was surprised to learn that many businesses care more about experience at managing people, than any real business skills. The movie, "Office Space" comes to mind. If you can effectively manage people, it doesn't matter so much what other skills you lack, the company can train you the way they like. Once you have experience, you can manage just about any type of business. Maybe even a pro sports team, or worse, you can become President of the United States! Scary thought huh?
 Many times I've felt that I knew more than my managers, this explains why!
    Another scary thought...."Second life is full of managers".....LOL

Tonight the Moulin Rouge comes alive with a special tribute performance presenting four of the timeless acts from the Moulin Rouge Movie.

  The Red Satin Slipper is the newest addition to the Moulin Rouge offering the best in Burlesque entertainment. Usually a sexier show than the regular saturday night show in the ballroom, they perform more modern acts here. Acts performed here include songs from Rihanna, Britney Spears, GAGA, Kylie Minogue and original acts.
  Moulin Rouge shows are every saturday at 7pm SLT. Red Satin Slipper-Thursady nights at 6pm SLT.

  Here is just some of what you missed at thursday's show! We had a lot of fun and gave the crowd something hot to look at! We do the Petite burlesque weekly for all you second life fans, on thursdays at 6PM SLT. We REALLY like to see you! Come meet us and enjoy great entertainment!
  Next performance is our regular Saturday night show at 8PM. This week we are doing the MOULIN ROUGE tribute show! For you great fans of the movie or the curious, we would like to give  you a warm welcome to SL's longest running burlesque show! Thank you so much for your support!

    It was a sad day on May 5th as one of my favourite groups decided to leave SL. If you look at the link above to their website you'll see why they were unique.  They believed and promoted the idea that "Love is the answer" to many if not all of the worlds ills. They were not and are not wrong. Unfortunately it takes a lot of work to be successful in SL and they certainly have done that. I personally hope they can come back and continue the work.
   This group is full of very talented caring people. I'd wished I'd got to know them better but hopefully
I believe many of them will stay on in SL and use their talents in new projects. To all in Loveli inc. I
wish them all the best and great success in all future endeavors!
   On the bottom of the poster if you can see it says,
