This was my first Tribute show I created and still one of my best I think. I was the first one in second life to do this full show of the Rat Pack, as far as I know. We performed this show for the republican party in SL as well as many other important groups. Later on after dropping Lightning for their shady business practises I recast the show with new players and performed at Bogarts on my rezday. I felt that I could never top that event and it remains as probably the highlight of my tribute show career. Since then I'm sure many have tried to copy the show but I have the satisfaction of being the first to do it :)
I paid for this video to be made so the credits should be mine not Lightnings. Just goes to show you have to be careful of the people you meet. I was once again scammed by an Alt avie. I don't believe in alt a vies and never use them. The most common reasons for being used is to spy or hide. It's my opinion that Linden Labs should ban the use of Alt avatars. You only truly need one. If you need another to hide your ID or start your second life over again, then there should be a limit of only one avatar per person. Having more encourages dishonesty and griefers. We all want to get rid of the griefers don't we?
ReplyDeleteIt's truly amazing how close second life can imitate reality. All the work needed to put on a show in real life is very much the same in second life. Starting a band for real, you always have personality conflicts, great parties and bad ones. Rivalries within the band, and members eventually moving on to start their own bands. Shady managers, groupies, people trying to copy your act! You experience the true life of a rockstar lol.
